Words cannot express what it means to the academy that a legend is coming home. Spencer "Slang" Liang has agreed to help the National Team for the rest of the season. Spencer is the most winningest female player in OSSA history and her guidance will be instrumental for the players.
After one of the most successful junior careers in the United States with wins over Jennifer Brady, Taylor Townsend, Louisa Chirico, Desirae Krawczyk, Samantha Crawford, to name a few, Spencer went on to graduate from the University of Florida where the Gators won multiple SEC titles and an NCAA national title in 2017.
"Spencer has always trained with the kids off and on since her career finished but to have her join our National Staff is unbelievable. In the short time she's been back, it's 100% noticeable how much she's impacting kids already. Having coached her since she was 9 years old throughout her playing career to 22 years old, and now to have her join our staff is a dream."
